Quality Framework

A quality improvement process that seeks to improve patient care and outcomes through systematic review of care is an essential part of the practice of podiatry. Our podiatrists and staff hold bi-monthly meetings to evaluate and discuss important facets of the running of the clinic and patient care and case conference.

Sterilization

The Essendon Foot Clinic uses high quality sets of instruments that are cleaned and sterilized in a Siltex B20 Autoclave. All instrument indicators are checked and catalogued once they have been sterilized. Biological testing is conducted regularly to ensure the autoclave´s effectiveness.

Payment

Fees charged are those recommended by the Australian Podiatry Association. Please contact reception staff to enquire for specific fee structure.

Payment for services provided by staff is expected at the time of consultation.

Health Insurance

We welcome clients with private health insurance. Due to the variability of policies between different health insurance companies, it is important that you are aware of the entitlements of your specific policy.

Appointment Policy

The Essendon Foot Clinic offers appointments after hours, both morning and in the evening on selected days and some Saturdays. Our staff will make every effort to ensure a suitable time for your consultation.

We ask that you give at least 24-hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment. Furthermore, it is helpful if you arrive at least 5-minutes early for your appointment.
